DELIGHT’s Ringside chat

Top of the Morning to you!

Happy St Paddy’s Day month to all the clowns, clown families’ and friends of Alley # 240.

Our next meeting Monday March 14, 2005 7:00 has been announced in several local newspapers. Hopefully some interest in clowning has been generated and we will have some visitors to share our clowning interest and knowledge.

During our next meeting we will review the basics, the review is a good way to start the 2005 Spring event season. If anyone would like to volunteer to present any part of the “basics” please let me know and we will try to include you in the program. Doing these local workshops is good practice for being in front of an audience.

It is a special gift to each of us Clowns to become a part of a child’s memory whether it is at a birthday, event or just sharing a big smile and wave! Clowning has given me a way to share with the community in a way I never thought possible!

Several of our members give of their time to local and regional charities. I would like to recognize Dave Anderson. Dave donated the most hours Out of all the Starlight / Alley members to the New England Starlight Star bright Children Foundation’s Clown Troupe.   Awesome Job!  Dave used his gift for magic and laughter to brighten the lives of seriously ill children and their families at many hospitals in the area. Way to go DAVE!!

May each of you share much

                               JOY, HAPPINESS and LAUGHTER,

                                        Mary Delight Sheehan
