DELIGHT’s Ringside chat
A July Hello to All the Pounds of Clowns, clown families and friends of Alley # 240,

Everyone and their families/friends are welcome to join us at the July 11, 2005 dinner.

As in the past everyone pays for their own dinner.

Food scholarships may be awarded, on the basis of need, to Alley members.

Let the president (me) know that you are short of funds and the alley will buy your dinner.

It would be great if every one could join us for what promises to be the start of an extraordinary year.

Clown day was just amazing.

Each and every clown brought a special talent that added to the event.

Special thanks to everyone for the juggler’s workshop, ballooning,

skits, craft corner, photos and "just clowning."

It seems we took a step forward

as we worked together to create a fun-filled event for the Harvey Mitchell library in Epping.

As big as our shoes are I don’t think any toes got stepped

on as sometimes happens when there are lots of clowns in a small space.

Of course it helped that the space was air conditioned and some of us have been in that clown car.

The light heartedness of the day is what I will remember from Clown Day 2005.

What a wonderful craft clowning is!

This a quote (more or less) froma Big Apple circus Clown , Bob “BeBe” Winthop,

who most us know from his work at Boston Children’s hospital.

“Children may not understand about faith or believing in God the way an adult does,

but they understand hope when they smile and that makes all the difference.”

See you at the Asia for dinner.  Bump a nose, Mary "DELIGHT" Sheehan
