DELIGHT’s Ringside chat
Happy July to all the Pounds of Clowns, Clown families and Friends of the Alley.
I heard Clown Day was just amazing and packed with kids! Thank you to all who helped out.
I am reminded this July of everything we have gone through this
past year. Everyone one of you has found a more confident clown character.  We have all become pretty fearless as we have matured as clowns. Not everyone can do what we do. Going out into the public to bring a smile to almost everyone is not such an easy task.
Remember all the people we brought smiles to over the past few years, all the love and laugher we have been a part of – it is amazing! It’s art!  What a gift to have those memories as we go through life’s ups and downs.
It has been great being the 2005-06 Pounds of Clowns President.  Thank you for a year full of laughter. I hope that I let
some of you do the talking during the meetings! Thank you to everyone who made my job easier!  A special thanks to Joan Gillis for getting the newsletter out every month! And a very special thanks to the irreplaceable Barbara Novak for driving me to the meetings and bringing refreshments. Thanks to all the officers and the members.  All the best to the incoming officers!
