Hi All, Another month has gone and we are at the end of summer. Fall is my favorite season; the leaves change, the days shorten and the nights get cool. But the best of all are the fall shows and venues. Many towns have their harvest fairs and old home days. The Halloween shows are some of my favorites.
This past weekend I had the privilege of working one such old home day with Alley-oop (sometimes known as Alan Flagg). What a great performer!. It was a pleasure to watch him work. What amazed me the most is the number of balloon creations he can make and his absolute commitment to quality.
Next month is October and Halloween which
means it is a good time to talk about Halloween routines and balloons. So bring
along some balloons, Halloween puppets, gags, or whatever, and let's have some fun.
In addition to the sharing of everyone's Halloween ideas, I will give a quick demo on
caricature drawing, a new skill I have been working on. It's a lot of fun and may be
useful to some. In closing, I must apologize to everyone for
last month's library mix up. Thanks to Cheezo for fixing things up for this month. Bump a NoseDave Topper Anderson |
